We're looking for an experienced leader in Solutions Consulting (or Sales Engineering) to lead a growing technical pre-sales function at Fleetio. You & your team will be the customer facing product experts, working alongside our sales team to drive ARR growth. As the first hire on the team, you’ll be tasked with building the team and setting the strategy for the function.

What you'll be doing

The Manager, Solutions Consulting will be tasked with building out a team of SC’s that support our acquisition sales motion. You’ll lead a team that supports multiple segments and plays a key part in product, enablement & marketing initiatives.  

  • Create the strategy for Solutions Consulting at Fleetio for the rest of 2024 and 2025.  
  • Develop the standard operating procedures for how Solutions Consulting works with our various sales teams.  
  • Hire a team of Solutions Consultants as the team of individual contributors who will work in the field with our sales team.  
  • Partner with Sales Enablement & Product on scaling product expertise through the Fleetio GTM org.  
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations to develop the reporting infrastructure for the function. 
  • Partner with Marketing on in the field events and webinars.  
  • Be a contributor/leader on company OKRs and key projects.

Our team

You’ll lead a team of individual contributors that support various sales segments at Fleetio. As the leader of the function, it will be important for you to be working in the field as well, especially as the team is being built out. Segments we expect you to support include:

  • Enterprise Sales
  • Mid-Market Sales
  • Channel Partnerships
Requirements
  • Technical & hands-on experience working with software products.
  • 2+ years leading Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering or Sales teams.
  • Subject matter expertise in product demo best practices.
  • Track record of strong partnership with GTM teams (Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Enablement) in support of revenue growth.
  • Fleet or fleet adjacent experience is not required, but helpful.
  • Experience in scoping, organizing & executing on cross-functional projects.
  • Results focus - this role is a driver of ARR growth.
  • Desire and ability to work in the field performing customer-facing functions.
