The Opportunity

We are looking for experienced engineers to join our team responsible for the quality and reliability of our products.

This philosophy is at the core of how we approach testing of our suite of products.  

This is a remote position on a globally distributed team of QA engineers that work closely with the development teams to identify weak spots and potential problems in our products. As a test engineer you navigate our product capabilities and corresponding codebases, identify ways in which users might use the platform, and build manual and automation test suites. You will be involved in product design discussions and help ensure the platform works for all the different user personas we cater to. Although experience in manual and automation testing is required, the focus of the role will be manual Back End testing. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver maximum results through both manual and automated testing
  • Be a key driver in delivering quality products to all Nexla users.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot test suites for Nexla products. 
  • Monitor and triage data operations issues.
  • Triage and report product issues and verify fixes. 
  • Works closely with the Nexla engineering team to derive testing requirements throughout the development cycle.
  • This role will primarily be focused on Back End and API Testing
  • Some of the toolkits you will be exposed to and utilizing consist of Postman, Grafana, ArgoCD and Github.
Desired Experience and Qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science, related technical fields, and practical experience
  • More than 4 years of experience in programming or automation.
  • Must have previous experience with requirements, defect, functional, and performance management systems.
  • Must be proficient with various Python libraries to handle large size data in multiple data formats for faster validations.
  • Experienced in both Manual and Automation testing with must have knowledge/experience in Manual. 
  • Strong experience in Python scripting and automation frameworks such as pytest and robot frameworks is a plus
  • Experience with Database Queries
  • A passion for testing, development, and design is a must have quality.
  • Strong knowledge of continuous integration tools such as Jenkins and version control tools like GitHub.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and high growth startup environment.

Compensation

The compensation will be determined by multiple factors such as location, skills, and overall experience with the base salary range of $90,000 - $110,000. Employment includes medical, dental, vision, 401k, and unlimited PTO.
