What we're looking for
We are currently seeking Associate DevOps Engineers (Blockchain) on a fixed-term basis (6 months Internship) to collaborate and assist the DevSecOps lead for the development and maintenance pipelines for model training, CICD, testing and deployment of staging / production environments.
Based on the internship performance there is a high chance of getting inducted into the highly talented team of Supra Engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and Assist DevSecOps lead for the development and maintenance of Jenkins pipelines for model training, CICD, testing and deployment of staging / production environments as well as Machine Learning models as required.
- Help to maintain, administrate, troubleshoot the infrastructure systems hosted on Hybrid platforms (multi-cloud, 3rd party data center providers)
- Monitor and optimize model performance, address any issues quickly related to latency, scalability, resource utilization etc., by wither writing / using / Modifying our proprietary tools / open source tools as required
- Helping DevSecOps team in designing and documenting Infra Architecture, Test Plans and Procedures, automation of provisioning by leveraging latest technologies / configuration management tools and containerization etc.,
- Troubleshooting bugs and provide Root cause analysis and modifying test steps/ procedures accordingly
- Performing Analysis check on Infra specifications, Architecture designs
- Reviewing all the periodical reports (Auto/Manual), audit logs, system alert notifications etc., and work on areas of improvement
- Ensure successful Software deployments (Staging / Prod) by ensuring comprehensive CICD systems using Jenkins by closely working with QA team to automate every possible Test scenarios by either utilizing open source tools or developing a one
- Responsible for proactively setup monitoring and ensuring all issues are addressed and resolved in a timely and robust fashion
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in Blockchain, DevOps, Infra security, Blockchain vulnerabilities and prevention methods
Are you the right person for this role?
The ideal candidate for us has:
- Must be available to commit to a full-time schedule for the duration of the internship
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Data science, Software Engineering or related field (Technology, Engineering & Mathematics)
- Good programming abilities in the following (either of the 3):
- Python
- Terraform
- Shell scripting
- Golang / Javascript
- Candidates with the (basic) understanding of few of the following will be given highest priority
- Cloud computing, ML concepts and Algorithms, Blockchain technology, Distributed systems, Node communications and relevant network protocols
- Basic knowledge of Linux or other Unix-like systems, Different operating systems and kernel subsystems like CPU, memory, storage, network etc.,
- Basic knowledge of using Version control systems (Git, Github, Gitops), Software development tools, automation tools, Databases, Logging tools, Data Engineering tools
- Knowledge of STLC, SDLC, different software testing concepts, techniques, methodologies and relevant tools, Troubleshooting methodologies and tools, Agile methodologies and tools will be an added advantage
- Excellent at Analytical skills
- Critical thinker and detail oriented
- Good written, verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
- Contributor to open source projects, participation in hackathons / code challenges / considerable personal projects etc., is a huge advantage
Internship Duration:
- Up to 6 months based on mutual agreement
