Senior Java Engineer (Payments)

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot, taking ownership of features
• Lead technical architecture: define service boundaries, data models, integration patterns, and
• Deliver payment technology solutions: develop and maintain payment platforms and integrations with
• Ensure reliability and compliance: take responsibility for application performance, availability
• Build event-driven systems: develop robust asynchronous processing workflows using Apache Kafka
• Collaborate across disciplines: work with product managers, solution architects, and DevOps

🎯 Requirements

• At least seven years of professional Java development experience, including complex production
• Hands-on experience in payments or financial technology systems (card issuing, acquiring
• Strong knowledge of Java 21 or later, Spring Boot, and modern Spring Framework for RESTful and
• Practical experience with Apache Kafka, asynchronous processing, idempotent operations, and
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and ORM technologies (Hibernate, JPA).
• Strong experience designing REST APIs with OpenAPI specifications and integrating external systems.
