Our Talent team is looking to hire a Technical Recruiter for Machine Learning (ML). Reporting to the Director of Talent, you’ll contribute comprehensive hiring support through use of recruiting systems, full-cycle processes, AI conferences, and university hiring initiatives.

The best candidates for our Technical Recruiter role have a passion for recruiting and hands-on experience with sourcing talent for machine learning research and engineering jobs. Ultimately, you’ll be a valued resource as you manage the hiring process for AI-centric roles that will bring human-like intelligence to general-purpose robots.

Bring hands-on experience in full-cycle recruitment, job posting, interviewing, sourcing passive candidates, and campus recruiting activities for ML talent

Expand your sourcing experience as you use social media, search, conference, and campus networks to build our talent pipeline

Tap into your mentorship skills as you document, communicate, and coach our processes to support new hires on the Talent team

Your Experience

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in recruitment, sourcing, or staffing roles

2+ years of experience recruiting for ML, Data Science, or related AI positions

Experience sourcing technical candidates using professional platforms (e.g. Github, Stack Overflow, Kaggle, Toptal), social media channels, and resume databases

Track record of finding high-caliber candidates for roles that range from entry to manager-level

Skills

Well-tested knowledge of different interview techniques, evaluation methods, and full-cycle recruiting workflows

Extensive experience managing recruitment workflows through Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

Ability to quickly understand the requirements and responsibilities of different roles within an organization and match talent to them effectively

Deep knowledge and understanding of machine learning concepts and technologies

Proficient in conducting technical screenings to assess candidates' ML expertise

Expert-level ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with candidates and stakeholders

Entry-rate Annual Salary: $100,000 CAD and up

Compensation:

At Sanctuary AI, we provide above average total compensation that includes three components: salary, equity, and benefits. Our goal is to ensure fairness in pay and we strive to make the overall package highly competitive with current market rates.

Equity:

Equity will play a significant role in the total compensation for this role. Our goal is to provide a generous equity compensation package, exceeding what is typically offered by companies of our size. The specific amount of equity will be communicated to candidates upon receiving an offer.

The compensation and benefits details provided for this role in Vancouver, BC are based on Sanctuary AI's market evaluation and may be subject to changes in the future. Your pay within the specified range will depend on various job-related factors, such as your past work experience, relevant education, and performance during interviews or work trials. Salary minimum provided is an entry-level rate for this role, as a requirement of the Pay Transparency Act in British Columbia.
