We’re looking for a Senior Accountant reporting to our Accounting Manager and working closely with our CFO. You will be working with smart and nice people, enjoy working in a fun and supportive environment, are self-motivated and work well independently, are goal-oriented, and are eager to learn and grow. To top it off, you will have some imprint on improving people’s health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations for various accounts
- Analyze monthly financial results and variances across accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Prepare semi-monthly payrolls
- Develop and analyze financials and KPIs of various reporting metrics across business units, segments and regions
- Partner closely with financial statement line item owners and cross functional business partners
- Lead process improvement and automation initiatives
- Own and perform internal controls documentation. Enhance existing processes and internal controls
- Support management in completing special projects as assigned
- Support external audit activities and ongoing internal audits
- Create efficient end to end processes
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Must be able to work on a hybrid schedule, 2-3 days in our San Francisco office weekly
- Early stage and growth start-up experience a plus
- Payroll experience (Trinet experience a plus)
- High attention to detail, problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with good business judgment
- Experience with Quickbooks
- Team player, self-starter, with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- Strong Google spreadsheet skills (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, etc)

The annual US base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000 - $135,000 + equity + benefits. Pay scale is flexible depending on experience. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, relevant education and training.
