The Sr Program Manager for Attrition, is the senior People proponent for business intelligence and action to reduce unwanted attrition, and increase critical talent retention throughout Zscaler.  This subject matter expert will develop by-sector baselines, incorporate industry standards, set incremental improvement targets, build and execute strategy, and manage stakeholders along the way.  This leader will establish and continuously improve a center of excellence to educate partners and influence trackable and transformative change in all spaces that effect and impact regretted attrition.  

The Program Manager will balance individual contributor work with influencing org-wide changes, in close partnership with business partners.  This individual will be a trusted advisor to the business and sought after confidant for talent retention strategies.  The Program Manager will leverage analytics with business acumen to develop and advance Zscaler’s retention strategy.

**Position is based in San Jose and hybrid 2x a week in office.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead program manager, partner with/through Business Partners to reduce regretted attrition.
  • Partner with clients, develop strategy, pitch priorities, track results, and influence process/strategy adoption (deliver in both an individual contributor and leader function).
  • Facilitate sensitive people strategy conversations, and subsequently execute change management.
  • Leverage talent/attrition insights to improve recruiting and retention strategies.
  • Blends partnership with intellectual curiosity to:  
  • Define the talent space
  • Identify and weigh positive/negative retention drivers
  • Propose priorities
  • Establish industry and org-specific baselines
  • Build tailored plans to track
  • Execute plan adjustments appropriate to achieve success   

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record using information/analytics in a consultative way to enact lasting change management.     
  • 10+ years of experience in the talent retention domain.
  • Experience developing major project roadmaps, with all associated PgM products.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to guide senior leaders through tough conversations and strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize a project portfolio to meet deadlines, including urgent executive-level requests.
  • Skilled and effective presenting to senior executives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate business intelligence to all levels of customers.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions.
  • Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results.
  • General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range

$147,000

$178,500 USD
